Norwegian Airlines’ nonstop Los Angeles to Madrid, Spain flight has begun operation, with prices starting at $195 each way.
The flight will operate four times a week and will depart from Los Angeles International Airport and arrive at Madrid-Barajas Airport. Norwegian will also be launching a New York City flight to Madrid on July 17, departing out of John F. Kennedy International Airport. Their previously-announced Fort Lauderdale to Madrid flight will launch on Oct. 30, 2018.
“Spain is one of the most popular destinations for Americans, and Madrid is a city in high demand from travelers,” said Thomas Ramdahl, Norwegian’s Chief Communications Officer. “It was a clear choice to add to our route network from both the West and East Coast as we continue to further expand our transatlantic presence. This nonstop service to Madrid also complements our Barcelona service well, which we launched a year ago and has been a great success.”
With the additions, Norwegian now has eight nonstop routes to Europe from Los Angeles, and seven nonstop routes to Europe from New York. The airline now offers nonstop, year-round routes to Europe from Los Angeles and New York than any other airline.
