United Airlines adds flights to Europe from SFO, NYC, and D.C.

United Airlines is giving North American passengers more options to fly to European destinations. The airline announce new nonstop seasonal service to Reykjavik, Iceland; Porto, Portugal; Edinburgh, Scotland; and Zurich, Switzerland.

The flights will travel nonstop from Newark, San Francisco, and Washington D.C. — but connects to more than 100 North American cities.

“As we continue growing our global route network we are offering more choice and convenience to travel internationally, something our customers have told us they want,” said Patrick Quayle, United’s vice president of International Network. “The new seasonal summer flights offer customers even more opportunities to plan summer travel to four of Europe’s most beautiful cities.”

United also announced new daily service between Los Angeles and Singapore, Newark and Buenos Aires, and Houston and Sydney.

The flight from Newark to Porto will run from May 4 to Oct. 4; the flight from Newark to Reykjavik will run May 23 through Oct. 4; the flight from San Francisco to Zurich will run June 7 to Oct. 27; and the flight from Washington/Dulles to Edinburgh will run May 23 to Oct. 4.
